I found these high-protein biscuits on TikTok, and they quickly became a favorite in my family. My son recently became addicted to sausage balls, and these are basically the biscuit version of those. They are great to meal prep and keep in the freezer, microwaving to reheat.
1 3/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
4 large eggs, beaten
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 t. salt
1 t. garlic powder (to taste)
1 T. baking powder
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar
1 lb. ground breakfast sausage, browned

Preheat oven to 400F. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, salt, and baking powder. Add the softened butter and mix with your hands until crumb-like texture. Add the yogurt and beaten eggs. Mix until almost all flour is absorbed. Add shredded cheddar and browned sausage. Mix until combined.
Use a large ice cream scooper or spoon to drop 12 evenly portioned biscuit-like shapes onto the prepared pan. Bake at 400F for 6 minutes, then reduce heat to 350F for 15-20 minutes, until deeply golden. Enjoy!
